Gert-Jan Braunstahl is a pulmonologist working in a tertiary severe asthma center in Rotterdam. His scientific work has significantly contributed to the “united airways” concept. After this the focus has shifted towards clinical application of fractionated nitric oxide (FeNO) in respiratory allergy.
Nowadays, he is involved in several lines of research, such as morbid obesity and asthma, aging of the asthmatic lung, bacterial lysates and prevention of asthma exacerbations, and several clinical studies investigating biologicals in asthma. He holds a position as an associate professor at Erasmus MC and currently he is the head of the section Asthma and Allergy of the Dutch Association of Chest Physicians.
På dette webinar, vil Dr. Braunstahl diskutere biologisk behandling inden for svær astma. Han vil tage udgangspunkt i Real-World evidens, dele ud af hans kliniske erfaring samt komme ind på, hvordan man kan bruge den kliniske erfaring til at målrette behandlingen til den rette patient.
